> Barry is a complete sucker. He fell for the oldest pattern in the book. The Lions
had their fallback year last year, which happens in the 2nd or 3rd year of every
good coaching regime. They were so obviously poised for a bounceback year,
especially with Charlie Batch having a season under his belt. Barry has contradicted
himself so many times in the past year, he should be nicknamed Slick. <g>

Barry is Barry. A guy who is so "closed" that the only time the Lions could find out what was on his mind was when his father spoke! The guy never ever attended a training camp. All summer long the Lions (management and Bobby Ross) tried to contact him by phone and letters, he NEVER responded to any of them. Then, two days before training camp starts announces his retirement...basically hung the Lions out to dry. But this sure has become a rallying point for the team to pull together and play hard...in both games the team found a way to win when they usually found a way to lose...Now Barry does not want to pay back 5 million dollars (part of his signing bonus) and recently asked the Lions to release or trade him...Next year I hope the Lions trade him for what he is worth<g>

Last night at a local TV station LIons show they were all like...Thank you Barry......Loser.

Meanwhile Lions 2-0...without Barry, without H. Moore, an offensive line with people never heard of before since most of them are injured...pinch me!

KC here we come...I predict a KC shutout!
