>>>I am switching banks from Crestar to Allfirst, and will revert back to CheckFree Direct - instead of a bank branded CheckFree service. With Direct, I back up the payment date 4 business days, end of story. No changes to any dates that I entered in my register.

I just ran into that same thing myself when I started using that Home ATM software a couple months ago in a business...I'd set something up to go through on the 10'th and it wouldn't clear the other end until a most times a week later. But the money was gone on the 10th. Using CheckFree in Quicken and doing a couple E-Bills a month via MyBills I got use to it going through on or about the date I put in on both sides of the transaction.

The main thing with this that pissed me off was...Under Quicken Like Brooks said related, I was just in time paying....Vs....Under this Home ATM service where I was always late paying by week on time. I guess I should have read the terms of service...(but those are like instructions.....I don't read those either...it's more fun without them....just takes longer to figure things out)

I'm going to figure a way out of this....perhaps the Yahoo! service?
