Heinz, The key to the real estate issue in JAPAN is buildable land. The U.S. still has an aboundance of land but in JAPAN and many parts of the FAR EAST, land is very scarce. So, subjective the demand for housing relative to the U.S. should be higher in JAPAN. Whats the total square miles of JAPAN compared to the U.S. An with the new age of technology, especially the internet, the attraction to the urban areas may not be as significant as it was in the past. seeya
