Aus, though mention of flash memory will help get the word out, there has been a tendency to group flash memory with other kinds of memory that use moving parts, such as the Micro Drive or the floppy disk. This is unfortunate because a lot of people don't realize the limitations inherent in drives that either use a lot more power or lack sufficient capacity to be viable alternatives. Because the battery drain is so high, at least on my Nikon 950, I decided to buy the NiMH batteries and charger. I'm also buying a hood with magnifier to make it a little easier to see the LCD display in daylight.

According to the Ner York Times this morning, Sandisk will issue their secondary sometime this week. There was no word about the Seagate PEPS trust.

Having the secondary get off would be nice. We'll get out of this trading range one way or the other.
