Thanks. It was a lot like when my mother died (I was 19 and a senior in HS.) I wasn't that close to Dad after his remarriage, and he was sick for quite a while, so his wasn't the shock this is. You expect it with death. I was prepared intellectually, but not emotionally, for it with sending them off to college. I don't care how adult and mature and pepared your are, how many of the right books you've read. It hurts.
