point of life IMO is when sentient thoughts occur, normally around the end of the first trimester from what i've read.

At what stage of development does an embryo become, to you, a "person"? At the stage when the genetic material is complete and the embryo is attached to the womb and will, without human interference or medical complications, complete its growth into a baby, child, and adult. It's all a process, without, IMO, any justification for breaking it into "before person" and "after person" stages. Are the microscopic cells present mere days after conception a "person," in your view, for example? If they are in position to grow into what you accept as a person without human intervention or medical complications, yes. <i.This is an important question. It is not only important. It is THE key question.
