I should have asked, also, whether you would grant "mercy" to pleading women in (only) the cases of rape and incest, as Neocon would.... I hope you will reply to the simple, straightforward questions in this and my prior post. If you can explain to me why a second life has to be destroyed to somehow make up for the first tragedy. I do not intend to diminish the tragedy of rape or incest. But I do not see how you make it better -- not right, you can never do that, but better -- by killing a comnpletely innocent person because of the way he or she was conceived.
