I hate to make a sexist comment... but... I'll bet its worse for your wife. Well, maybe. But if she is employed in education she is no doubt swamped in her work, which is probably a good thing. Still, I hope you find time to look into some of these relief orgs for children if you have any inclination to do so. So many people seem to say they will look into it, and then don't, and then its too late to get back back into the noise and commotion of kids... Of course these foster puppies are a happy medium! I never knew how many problems dogs can have. One dog we got had been abused (we think - he was harmless/non violent though)... anyway he was kindof retarded or something... he loved chicken livers but if you stood across the room holding the chicken livers he would look at you and not understand what to do... I decided he needed glasses and put a pair of my old glasses on him, that was a sight...
