You are correct - there is indeed no RHAT OS and my implication in my last message wasn't meant to indicate there was. My post was poorly written. HOWEVER, RHAT packages Linux as a pure OS (no applications) along with the required supporting documentation which makes it easier for compaines developing on Linux. Futhermore RHAT has a development community which includes Torvald which continue to enhance the OS to which RHAT verifies, packages, develops supporting documentation for and markets before most competitors. TO be clear - it is indeed true that anyone can sell Linux or any version of Linux, but RHAT has the largest market share, the greatest mindshare, and has won the hearts and minds of key customers. Of course it doesn't hurt that INTC is a major investor.
