CKR/LJPC

Allan,

Two interesting non-signals you've brought in:
CKR is a breed I've never seen before, a double-Este-cat-gapper, meaning on two separate occasions, it gapped insufficiently to become a cat, but then finished out the day with a respectable cat-sized lump on their its and an outline of its physique in the glass roof of the cathouse, created as it plummeted from respectability into the House of the Falling Cat.
"There is
A cat
In New Orleans ...."
On the first try, early June, it gapped a respectable but not qualifying 16%, and finished the day down 23%; the most recent was a mere 7.8% gap, followed by a truly Este-qualifying gap-down day, close-to-close, of 29%. I've never seen it before, and won't touch it with Captain Kirk's ten-foot pole.
LJPC is a feline very, very dear to my heart. I want to strangle every cent out of this little manx that I can. However: It failed to signal on 9/15, which qualified for a new low on significant volume, but not for the third reason: it closed 1/32 off the low; I don't know if that was the bid or the ask, but it's not enough in either case. Penny-cats are in my ears and in my eyes, to quoth Paul McC, but I really don't want them up my you-know-where, searching for my fiduciary Klingons.

Hope that helps,
or at least amuses,
Ivan

OCR et SRV non dit MEOW, a cause de VOLUME

(A headline for our friends across the waves, following La Maison des Chats from Paree.)

They threw a nice little neck-tie party for these two beef-critters, but they forgot to invite enough people.
I don't know how to translate neck-tie party or beef-critters for frogs. Just hope they're cineastes and have seen enough Westerns to know to stay away from these falling knives until the volume says,
"YO!, Grenouille. Yeah, You, in the Green beret and the four legs I'm fixing to eat in wine sauce. Don't buy these stocks. They didn't signal."

And yet, on such a dismal, rainy post-Floyd day, not a single worthy signal emerges: RAD, SRV, and ORB had all the requirements, but they gapped into them this morning, thus earning themselves 15 days in Coventry.
Little pricks.
Particularly SRV, for which I've had what the French call "un Willie engorge" ever since it schnookered me into a commission loss, then snuck out of the house a few months ago "to get a pack of cigarettes" and did 80% or 90% or somesuch.

FEET

Scary when this kind of icy hand creeps its way into the cathouse:
biz.yahoo.com
It reopened and acutally gapped mid-day. Something I think I've seen happen three times total in all my days a natural-born trader of cat flesh. New low, not enough volume. Allan, I think you said give this one three weeks, about a week ago. Multo prophetico.
