a 7+ earthquake in Taiwan (from RMBS thread). Anyone heard anything here?

An earthquake measuring 7.6 struck Taipei before dawn Tuesday, knocking out power and shaking buildings. State radio said it was the strongest in Taiwan in 10 years.

Telephone service was interrupted for a time by the quake, which occurred at 1:47 a.m. (1:47 p.m. EDT). The Broadcasting Corp. of China said it was followed by six aftershocks and cut electric service in parts of the city. "There also are tsunami warnings out. There are warnings for Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Yap, Guam, and Palau," John Bellini, geophysicist.

<Interesting how do you manage to intertwine
"performance" into your list of "stable"
features. Last time I checked, Athlon
wins in every benchmark so far. What is simple and
clear here that if you cannot use "performance",
use "stability" instead. >

Ali,
Stability is referred to in the press release. The product is stable, performs and is reliable. I did not mean to intertwine anything. Perhaps you should ask HP what they mean by "Stability". And while you make the inquiry, ask Gateway what they mean and please let us know.

Ali - Your comment 'Last time I checked, Athlon
wins in every benchmark so far' wasn't made by Gateway or Hewlett Packard - was it?
