**OT computer solution*** Kaliico, Kevin T and others

Kevin's wife Alicia here …
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions on how to get my external ZIP drive to work on my NT system. In the end, the "trick" was to set the parallel mode (in system bios setup) to "AT" (unidirectional) … I know it makes NO SENSE whatsoever! But when I did that, the ZIP drive worked fine, and so did the pass-through port for accessing my Epson printer. Just to be sure, after I got everything working, I set the mode back to "PS/2" (bidirectional) (a daring move, I know…), and everything "broke" again. Putting it back to unidirectional got everything working again.
Thanks again.
