Playing Dirty....

>>I don't know....just when do we begin to question this company's ethics or do we even care about ethics anymore?

Honestly, if this were Novell, I'd have the same feeling I do right now about Microsoft - utter disgust. It has nothing to do with who it is but rather the way in which they portray themselves.>>

Thanks Peter for sharing that story about Gates paying for nationwide newspaper ads in an effort to slant academic findings to for his own gain.

I was going to share that myself, but felt I had already provided enough grist for the mill recently.

Ethics are the bedrock of our society. We will survive or perish based on our collective actions. Either we take or give energy - ie. abuse or respect the time and trust of others.

At the end of the day the scales are balanced and we are either growing or declining. If you think you can fool yourself into thinking you are growing at the expense of others you will end up finding yourself in a ponzi scheme of your own making. In the end, the pyramid collapses, exposing the underlying fraud.

Russia is but one of the many spetacular examples of this. Microsoft seems to be playing the same game. Intimidation, abuse, lieing, all in the name of advancing their cause.

I think we've beat this horse enough for now.

Peace.
