I swear....buildings are falling, people hurt and dying, homes lost and all the other great things that happen during an earthquake but somehow you will turn it over so it can be used as ammo in the intc/AMD feud.

Man, how petty. That is one step further on the petty scale than Bill seeing all the financial benefits to AMD. You both need to give it a rest.

Gary, Fabs are a lot more delicate than mobo factories, so side by side the fabs will fail,na dhte mobo factories will get on line again faster, however it looks like the fabs are remote from the quake site and would get just a small shaking and that might be within their design capabilities. Of course they may try to use it to jack up prices anyway.
