so go for existential philosophy which very distilled says life's meaning is whatever meaning you give to life at that moment...whatever you value.

Jon, 'Helping other people, give joy and happiness to others...' Is this the meaning of life? I am too selfish for this, man.... I consider myself a very selfish person. Meaning that I act in a way that benefits me. I assure you that life has been good to me in every category. In order to receive, you must give it away. I do agree with what Ray said about Budda and The Hitchhiker's Guide. JXM
