I spend a great deal of my life living in Japan and Asia and have been very close to and also lost loves ones in similar large quakes such as Kobe. So don't tell me about ANYTHING!

Hsinchu,where Taiwan's semiconductor industry is located, is about 50 miles North on coast from site of earthquake. I tried to go to Acer, Tatung and Via web sites with no luck. I could do to Winbond web site so at this time I will chalk up any difficulties to phone problems.
I got three different quotes on 64 Meg PC100 RAM $109 $114 and $139. We will know tomorrow what the effect of earthquake has on prices of electronic goods.
