LVCI--key excerpts from a Dow Jones article today:

<<Shares of Laser Vision Centers Inc. (LVCI) fell nearly 15% Monday, a tumble the company's Chairman and Chief Executive John J. Klobnak attributed to misguided fears over pricing pressures....

Klobnak said Laser Vision doesn't set the price that a doctor charges for the laser procedure. He said the company has contracts with doctors for a set price and term, neither of which is influenced by how much a doctor charges patients for the procedure.

"Pricing is really up to the doctors," he said. "If they decide to be competitive by lowering the price or if they decide to charge a premium, it's their decision. But we charge them the same either way....">>

The article includes positive comments from two analysts, A.G. Edwards' Greg Simpson who says business is "extremely strong" and Advest's Theodore Huber who says price concerns are "overblown."

ADX methods of day/swing trading. Tonight, I will include a illustration on the ADX which is the daytrading system I use together with an oscillator, like ROC and/or RSI.. to determine actual entry. I have updated the Market Gems Manual with a chapter on her strategies on "Market Gems Type" picks. I didn't make this up by myself by 'adapted' from Linda Bradford Raschke. The trick is having a good stock to begin with, that's when their methods work the best. I tried to adapt her methods to our 'special' kind of picks and the results will be the final version of the Market Gems Manual.

I also use her 'volatility breakout'...after many tried and not as successful trading systems. Her book 'street smarts' is superb I also use her "Holy Grail' method which is based on ADX.. her book "Street Smarts" is rather expensive ($174.95) but if enough traders are interested perhaps I can get a reduction. I don't get any residuals, I don't even have a link to her on the Market Gems homepage. You don't have to have her book, since I will adapt her strategies to our picks, but those diehards out there who want the 'best' might be so inclined.

For longer term holds, like ADIC or LXK almost any swing-trading system will do, but some are better than others of course.

CORL - wow, wish I'd been in since $3 - bought in higher than that. Been watching its trading - lots of large blocks bought over the last week or so.

Earnings doubled expectations. Tomorrow should be interesting for certain.
