I was in a similar position as our original threadster, as I bought in at around 12. Just a bit too early. It turns out that I sold out for a minor tax loss that year, but then kept watching MTSN ever since. At around 3, 5, 6 and 7 1/2, I bought a bunch each time. I thought that at each spike up might be the time to unload. But I only position traded part of my shares at each spike up, then bought back at about half the spike retracement. This stock has been fabulous for doing this. It also helps to have some buddies in the Valley. I feel I know this stock as well as the CUBE and a few biotechs. The question will be when to sell. If the current cycle goes into 2002, the in the fall of 2001 might be the time to sell. With the equipment makers, one has to watch the overall industry trends. I must also take my hat off to Ian and John, as well as to the additional quality posters on Yahoo. Also, my hat off to Brad, as he is the visionary and honest about the future of the company.
