9/20/99 - MobileSys Releases New Version of Its Flagship EtherPage Wireless Messaging System

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sep 20, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- MobileSys, Inc., the leader in wireless messaging middleware solutions,
today introduced version 3.25 of EtherPage(R), the company"s flagship product.

EtherPage is a computer software environment that integrates with mission-critical enterprise systems and delivers messages to
wireless devices such as pagers, digital wireless phones, and PDAs. Network monitoring, customer support, manufacturing process
monitoring, and corporate communications represent just a few of the functions that have benefited from the automatic, real-time
messaging capabilities of EtherPage.

New functionality in version 3.25 includes an improved web interface with configuration and administration features, support for
leased-line connections to wireless service providers, and escalation of messages that are not confirmed within a specified period of
time. Additional features include an application programming interface (API), support for centrally managed administration, and GUI
administration with optional password protection. Version 3.25 is available for Windows NT and most versions of UNIX.

David Coelho, MobileSys founder and chief executive officer said, "Wireless messaging is growing very rapidly. As the number of
wireless users continues to increase, EtherPage becomes an even more critical extension to the enterprise applications with which we
integrate. EtherPage is distinguished by its ease of installation and configuration, by its high reliability, and by its ability to scale to
carrier-class solutions."

"EtherPage is an awesome product," said Mike Broxterman, Staff Engineer, at Qualcomm, Inc. Broxterman added that for him to offer
such an endorsement speaks volumes because "I"ve never agreed to serve as a reference for any other product before."

Customers who are enrolled in the MobileSys maintenance program can upgrade to version 3.25 of EtherPage free of charge. The
licensing fee for new installations starts at $595. There is no fee for client software and no limit to the number of clients that may
access a server.
