Tony, both edges latch data, just like on the AGP port in 2X mode. The data rate is 800MHz from a
400MHz clock.


I know, but my original point was that there are no true 800 MHz signals (that is, with a period, or clock cycle time of 1.25 nanoseconds) running around anywhere. As an aside, I hope that company Visio that MSFT just bought, or some such outfit gets with SI/Go2Net to develop graphics capability here. One picture, you know the rest.
