From the a lie, to the horrendous crime of murder, its all sin.

We, as sinners try to rank these sins, by our own standards. We cannot! . . .

I don't think you really consider telling a lie and committing murder equivalent, else why would you have used "horrendous crime" in reference to murder?

<< "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" >>

Yes, it says "eternal life", but it doesn't say where, Heaven or Hell.

There are many specific rules in the bible, quoted by Jesus, that say that certain sins will deny entry into Heaven, PERIOD! During one, Christ says that if you don't come to the Kingdom of God, as a little child, that you will never come to the Kingdom of God, meaning that after age 6, if you haven't accepted Christ, you will never make it to Heaven, ever, ever, or ever.

So, when I see quotes that all sins are the same, child molesting or cursing, then I wonder if anyone has ever made it to Heaven.

Why can't we tell the difference between sins? Is the human mind incapable of distinguishing between murder and cursing?

<< ... any sin, no matter which one, qualifies us to fall short of the glory of God. From the a lie, to the horrendous crime of murder, its all sin. >>

Do you really believe that God either can't tell the difference between a liar and a murderer, or just doesn't worry about how we conduct ourselves down here on Earth?

If having an abortion, or performing an abortion is no worse a sin than cursing, why don't anti-abortion people spend more time picketing bars and sports events, where there is a lot of lying and cursing?

Why aren't anti-abortion activists involved in picketing prisons, where there's a whole lot of same sex conduct, which would also be an equal sin to abortion, if I understand your point of view correctly?

If God doesn't care whether someone is having an abortion, or if someone is telling a lie, as far as the level of a sin, why should we? Shouldn't we not follow after God's example?

At least you are getting the message out, to anyone reading this thread that is thinking of an abortion, that abortion, as a sin, is no worse than cursing. Since a woman usually does a lot of cursing during the delivery of her child, but little cursing during an abortion, it would seem that giving birth is more of a sin than an abortion.

<< From the a lie, to the horrendous crime of murder, its all sin. >>

I think that I am beginning to understand your point. Thanks for the information.
