This is my first visit here as a result of receiving a Gilder PR and seeing talk of him on the Dorsey thread. It's an eye-opening perspective.

I was wondering what Mutual Funds, if any, are most closely aligned with Gilder's thinking and perception of the future.

Anyone know?

that is the Cisco model of behavior, eh?

Thank you for speaking in my native language.

I seem to recall Uniphase purchased JDS Fitel..

But this? What is this? Just when I was thinking you could be an honorary Canadian! Uniphase didn't purchase JDS Fitel. It was a merger of equals, as you say. Now, how come you didn't think JDS Fitel purchased Uniphase?

Anyway, I agree, they are very aware of the Bookham and LUMM "threats" and have the resources to do what they have to do, whether it's a buyout of a little player, or development of their own technology.
