I knew Korea was big in CDMA, but over 60% of the world's CDMA subscribers?! How did that develop, how much was the Korean government involved, what system was there before? Is it a scenario in which the inherent superiority of CDMA prevailed and therefore likely to happen elsewhere (Brazil, Australia, China, etc)or was it an inside-job government mandate? Any info on how CDMA dominance evolved in Korea would be appreciated. Also, where is the next Korea?
