***SUMMIT TRADING***

I had the "oppurtunity" to go to a introductory meeting put on by the SUMMIT trading group. There was an open bar and lots of good food. I would have to say it turned into a GAP and CRAP. The first problem I had with them was when their visually appealing mascot lady proudly proclaimed to everyone that "daytraders are NOT in competition with each other, that they are only competing against the market makers". The next problem I had was when the CEO pointed to a daily candle chart and said it was an intraday chart. Specifically showing the wide range "intraday" bars to the grazing and boozing sheep. BAAAAHHHH. He did actually cover his bases and proclaim the difficulty involved at times but it still came across as misleading. I got up and finally walked out after 3 glasses of wine and a few snacks. I would like thank them for bringing a fresh supply of money into the markets though.<GG>

regards,
Ozzie

Daytradingexpo Folk,

FYI I'll be getting into the Marriott about 2pm on Friday. You probably have no idea how good it will feel to get away from my study, where I spend about 15 hours each day. Haven't seen much of the the world since my last trip to CA in June. Independence is overrated ;-).

If anyone would like to have some dinner at the hotel before the alcohol-induced trading bravado begins in earnest later that evening, send me a PM and lets plan to meet. (Chas, is your trading son coming with you?). A warning: I tout myself as a vegetarian but will likely eat some fish-related products during my visit. Hope that doesn't ruin anyone's fantasies.

Kerri, what's the deal with your health? We need your attendance badly <g>.

Alan
