Tom, Seems RBAK management is attempting to use news release to timing the market to avoid selloff in its stock. Part of news release indicates the GTE agreement is an old news. GTE already uses RBAK's SMS. There is nothing new in this release.

"The deployment is part of a multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement between GTE Internetworking and Redback to provide
subscriber access to broadband services. Currently, GTE Internetworking has implemented Redback's SMS in more than 20 U.S.
markets in 11 states and is slated for further nationwide expansion in 1999. "
