Hi Jeff,

I've got a SI "user friendliness" suggestion:

When I'm on-line, I usually have about four windows open to four different sites and jump to a new window when it takes too long for a new screen to come up.

The new SI, however, is now programmed to jerk me out of whatever window I've gone to (forcing me back to SI) when the new SI screen begins to come up on my computer. This usually has the effect of interrupting my reading in another window.

(Is there a way for me to disable "forced jumps" in Netscape Communicator?)

Also, with the old SI, once one read the posts related to a subject or people mark, the count would automatically go to zero when one returned to the "SubjectMarks" screen. With the new SI, I have to "Reload" my screen to get the new current count.

(I do have Communicator set to "Document in cache is compared to document on network every time.")

Otherwise, I'm happy with the new SI!

Thanks in advance, John.

Can anyone tell me how to expand the viewing area for SI's earnings estimate section. I only see one line at the very bottom of my screen (The rest of the screen is covered with advertisements and the navigator). I have to scroll one line at a time to review the earnings est for a company I am interested in.

Thank you in advance

Second time I have posted this question.

How about migrating Si from an XT and 2400 baud modem to say a 386 and 9600 baud modem.
Cost ya maybe 60 bucks

Si is very very sick

When do you intend to seek a doctor's advice?

Well, that's even worse, now there's not as much room for subjectmarks with new messages. You could just take away the search function like the logo! After all it wouldn't be the first time lifetime members had advanced search and 100 message batch mode yanked from us.

Just wondering if the read replies number will increase on this old post I'm replying to as it now says (2), but when I click on the replies 5 show up. WUWT?

In edit. Read Replies increased to (3) but when clicked on six now show up including this one.

Oh, I see the logo is back, one for the good guys
