...When the dust settles, and Jhild turns off his computer...He looks in the mirror & says...Wow, i was right...Looks around and there's no one there to share that with...

I'll share it with him, and congratulate him for his perseverence.

Howard is, of course, right. The exact same story was played out on MTEI.

jhild brought facts, or logical inferences drawn from said facts to this thread. The pro-pabn viewpoint was buttressed by statements of management and belief in those statements' truthfulness as well as a belief in management's ability to execute on their plans. Rarely, if ever, were those belief's permitted to be examined and challenged in public - in light of what is probable and practical in business.

To be fair, there are honest longs who became the unwitting dupes of the touts who would steal a bottle from a starving infant if the tout could sell it for a quarter. I won't offer my opinion as to who is who.

One could hope - but certainly not expect - that one of these days people will realize that the stock market is not a football game: no amount of cheering, or demonizing the opposing team will in the long run in any way effect the outcome of the underlying security's price appreciation - that's management's job. Unless, of course, one's objective is to deliberately create a false optimism in order to dump your shares on the greater fool. That I abhor - and I pray that anyone who thinks that way is not my neighbor.

Nevertheless, the cheering will go on, because the cheerleaders have never been burdened with fiduciary responsibility.
