This is a very distinct possibility. However, power disruptions to fabs are a fairly common if not annoying event.

A good percentage of Work In Progress is not "in process" at any given point in time, so unless the run boxes shook off the shelf or automated handling systems and shattered, a vast majority of the WIP would be unaffected by a point in time event, as they are sitting queued.
