Alta Vista is faster than NetZero and has not crashed my Internet Explorer yet. When Prodigy is working fine, it is faster than Alta Vista. However, right now, Alta Vista is faster than Prodigy because of Prodigy's problems. I would eventually migrate to cable modem (or if DSL is available and competitively priced) and use Alta Vista as my first backup with NetZero second. I still use AIM to communicate with all my 'buddies' in realtime, of course. Anyway, this is for your information. I tell it like a tough consumer.
