My comment on Stonecipher's gift means nothing. It was just a "wouldn't it be nice..." deal. I'd certainly love to be in that position.

Those partnerships which the the "same" people you mention are probably hedge funds/investment limited partnerships. It is probable, though not certain, that you have the limited partnership buying, as well as the general partners themselves. Basically all the interest is coming from the same group of people, which to me just means we have to know how good they are as investors, and whether they really possess inside information. I don't know either of these things, so I take it as neither a plus nor a minus.

Now, OT, but for an example of significant insider activity, look at the General Counsel of Philip Morris dumping a large portion of his shares recently. To me, his position gives him inside information, and though he's but one person, I don't brush it off.
