Looks like we have rock bottom support at $254/5 - this is not to say that the 87.5 % of bidders who were unfilled today will chase the price up - but this auction result follows the pattern of the second auction in the 70s - and is a huge encouragement for the gold cause. What do you say Hutch? d

Seems like you and I were just yakking yesterday about the widening trade deficit the result of us buying Asia out of their financial flu doesn't it? And the gap numbers back then were only $12-13B as I recall...<vbg>
