(Thanks to Phillips Telecom)

Mobile-phone production is one of the operations that German radio equipment manufacturer Robert Bosch GmbH is expected to sell as it divests failing divisions, according to media reports in Europe.

Bosch also is expected to sell its wireline and broadband networks divisions. The mobile handset production operation in Aalborg, Denmark, is sought by Siemens AG, while the wireline networks business will be taken over by General Electric Co. Plc, of the United Kingdom, and the broadband cable network is attracting the interest of Deutsche Bank AG.
