Don't worry too much about the quake - it is over with. Quakes don't crush computer chips as much as they crush buildings! Take it with a grain of salt. ESST will be back by the weekend with a bang!

A lot of their chips come from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. ("TSMC"), which has manufactured the Company's products since 1989.

TSMC has a release that states:

Hsinchu, Taiwan, September 21, 1999 ¡V Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company
(NYSE: TSM) indicated as of 11:00 a.m. that the company's buildings, HVAC systems,
water distribution and power distribution systems successfully withstood the effects of a
major earthquake that shook Taiwan area early Tuesday morning.

Although they say there may be a 10% loss of production.

TSM actually went up today.
