Chial Hu,

Thanks for the update. You posted just as I was pressing the "submit" button.

I wonder if CF prices will remain stable or increase between now and the New Year.

Chial Hu and Thread,

I feel bad worrying about UMC.

Let's hope and pray the human tragedy is kept to a minimum. The earthquake had the same magnitude as the devastating disaster that struck Turkey.

Thanks for the news. A momentary loss of production would probably be covered by insurance. One worry is that large delays or losses over time would lead to reduced sales during this period. Having been through a minor earthquake in Turkey several years ago, I know from experience the potential disaster, particularly in human terms. If production is delayed for only a week, it will be fortunate indeed. The death toll, however, suggests that this is a really major event. Art

Chial Hu and Thread,

Seems as if the uncertainty is taking the wind out of SNDK today.
As a long investor I rejected the notion of selling shares at the Tuesday open hoping to buy back shares later in the week. In retrospect this would have been a good trading option.

Instead I bought some shares today...more or less to renew my conviction in the long term prospects for SNDK. Last purchased shares on the unexplained fall to the high teens several months back, so pulling the trigger here was a bit harder.

Fear and short selling likely are pushing us down with more momentum than one would anticipate.
