Crimes are stopped with guns about five times as frequently as crimes are committed with guns>> With all due respect, anyone that puts this "fact" in a report immediately triggers my "bullshit meter". Just think about that statement for a second. With all the thousands of crimes that are committed on a daily basis with guns, the author of that statement is implying that 5 times that amount of crimes are stopped daily by potential victims brandishing guns. Just go by your own experiences in life, what you have heard, people you have known etc. IMO, there is absolutely no way that statement is even remotely true. Mark
