Nice pickup in volume today. 162K shares. Also, highest intra-day high since July 26th. Looks like a base has been formed.

I live and work within 20 miles of their HQ, and have been aware of LITH since it rose from the ashes of Hope Technologies. (Years ago, Hope Tech was a customer of my company.)

Everybody's Lith Poly battery chemistry is basically the same, having been licensed from the same source. LITH, however, has focused on the means to manufacture the batteries reliably and in high volumes, using 'thin film deposition' techniques perfected by Hope. Since the key to commercial success with Lith Poly lies in production capability, where LITH seemed to have the edge, I was puzzled by the company's relative silence (as compared to VLNC et al) and wrote the CEO to ask why. He responded that although they were confident, they did not wish to risk making promises they couldn't keep. He then invited me to tour their facility.

At the time (about 10 months ago) at least a dozen people were working there, and the expansion of the demonstration manufacturing line was under way. I got a thorough introduction to battery testing from their chief techie, and a look at the next generation product, which convinced me that the company could make it.

I hold a lot of shares, but I don't have any recent 'inside' info. I do feel that the technology itself would be marketable, but doubt the company would sell it unless forced to.
