Z, Who said I was solely relying on emotion? I told you what my experiences were with regard to my own life. I grew up in a neighborhood with a fair amount of crime, and don't personally know a single person who had a handgun and used it in defense of themselves against a criminal. It just didn't happen. We can both dig up articles that use "facts" to promote our opinions. They are all over the net and it doesn't take much to find them and paste them. I prefer to use my own life experiences in determining my personal opinion than some report that was probably paid for by an advocate from either side of the issue. I will allow you to have the last word as I have very little interest in continuing this debate. It would continue all day, with both sides saying the same things that have been debated on these threads ad nauseum. It goes nowhere. Mark
