John Q Public... keep it up and you're going to have to change your screen name again (VBG)...

I was trying to be nice; I won't address your extrapolations on what TMR is going to do cfps & earningswise - (I think I saw a few corrective post responses - but, no one caught a couple of "biggies") we'll just wait untill the 10 Q comes out - and let "you" decide if you want to keep practicing "accounting" with your engineering degree (VBG)....

By the way: TMR has "No Hedging" huh....??? ahhh hmmmmmm; are you sure ? - because you based your entire premise & table pounding on that "fact" ... and no one on this thread caught that ??????? hmmmmmmmm.

HEDGING CONTRACTS

Effective July 16, 1999, the Company entered into certain hedging contracts as summarized in the table below. The Notional Amount is equal to the total net volumetric hedge position of the Company during the periods. The positions effectively hedge approximately 60% of the Company's current oil production. The fair values of the hedge are based on the difference between the strike price and the New York Mercantile Exchange future prices for the applicable trading months of 1999 and 2000.

...... hmmmmm 60% of total current Oil production ???

maybe my screen is foggy and I am not seeing that correctly ?

Ohhhh by the way: re: MDR

<< I'm in @ $22 3/16 ths today and will follow each $1 down if seen; however - this blow off today is setting up a great buying opp in the OSX in general; on an individual stockpicking basis.>>

I am very happy with my entry point; happier with the "event" driver of when the Indonesian Contract hearings get "formally" dismissed etc. As the OSX is getting sold off again; setting up on hell of a buying opp - probably "the" opp in fact; I've got my buy orders on MDR; sitting at $20 7/8ths & $19 1/2 on good til cancel orders; also have limit buys on GLBL & FLC at my targets.

I won't waste my time on GLBL analysis - someone should though.... their acquisitions in one analysts comments; may have been the single best move of any company in the oilpatch in the last few years.... GLBL's CEO has done more than a little insider buying in the past by the way (VBG)... Dore is what everyone should wish JL was...
