KZNerd, Most of the time, Office applications do not push the cpu usage of my Celeron 333 up to 100%. I would hardly expect different memory technologies to make much difference in that situation. What does make a big difference is having enough RAM to avoid disc swapping. John

As a non-tech person, I have no expectations of ever understanding RMBS technology. So I apologize if this is a dumb question, but does RMBS play any role in DVR's? That's painting an overly simplistic negative view on things. As some of us may already know, reality is much more complicated.
