FWIW, I saw a Sprint PCS add on the tube last night, showing off the Thin Phones internet capability. You could clearly see the Qualcomm logo.

Go ahead Ramsey, throw some stuff out there.

Being the PC thread, perhaps rehashing the 'Good News - Stock Price goes Down' line is getting somewhat tiresome. (The NEW Qualcomm sure acts like the old one!)

I know how they are going to use the billion they raised earlier this year, they are going to use it to pay off all the stock options held by the handset people!

This weeks news has a nice convergence ring to it. The world is getting smaller which paradoxically grows the pie. (re: Telecom operators and choices for the infrastructure - even though some have said all along certain choices are 'toast')

How is a shareholder to keep track of all the divergent uses of our beloved CDMA. Last year we had more people with longer time horizons. Now we are run out by momentum players, it is not surprising that they have little to add wrt the grand plan. Heck I've been around for a while and my brain hurts thinking about it. (Then again, my brain hurts when I am not thinking, but that is another story.)

In summary: Leap, signs LU and ERICY to deals: SUPER
BAM and VOD, No net change, they are already inline. I dont think synergy benefits the Q that much.
Nextwave: Still a couple years out before a meaningful addition to the bottom line - if then.

All I can say that you QC investors are now so complacent and don't really care about all these positive developments anymore. Zero discussion on any of the above.
Perhaps complacency isn't the reason.
