Hey Stephen, I'm hoping it's an upswing too, but don't get too excited about today! The stock certainly has been hammered for many sessions now, but today just looks like a bit of an oversold bounce! Whether it's more than just a day pop we'll have to wait and see. It'll have to be a few good up days in a row for me to believe anything positive is going on here! OMHO

You comment, volumes don't lie!
At the moment, AOL's volume, adjusted for the number of hours into the session, is over three standard deviations above the average daily volume for the past month. In other words, the highest in a month. Price movement is also significant, over one standard deviation above the average price movement for the past month. I would suggest a little short-covering explains the move, stimulated by Blodgett's comment that AOL has not been suffering subscriber loss yet due to free ISP (or something like, I haven't actually read the comments yet.) We'll see what kind of legs this rally has.
