We are defining the market differently. You are saying routing, I am saying next-generation routing. Since Juniper is the only one getting revenues with a next-generation router, the market is the size of Junipers revenues, hence 100% market share.

Its a silly argument but the point is that Juniper is first-mover and there is a major technology shift and market share starts over. Cisco has big market share of the last generation of routing. Cisco will get good market share of the next generation but its playing catch-up with a lead weight around its ankle. Juniper is releasing new software updates every 90 days, they have a big chunk of revenues coming.

As for the article being "a hatchet job," it doesn't matter because the article is not new news --> UUnet said the same thing a while back.
