A few minutes ago (maybe 10-15) I saw someone buy (at the offering)300 SJX VH (SOX October 540 puts). I didn't see a corresponding put sell executed (for a bear spread).... 13:08 ET Taiwan Earthquake : Merrill Lynch commenting on the impact of the earthquake in Taiwan to the semiconductor companies: Applied Materials (AMAT), ASM Lithography (ASML), KLA-Tencor (KLAC), Lam Research (LRCX) and Novellus (NVLS), have approximately 20-25% of their current backlog scheduled for shipment in Taiwan, however it is unclear how this will affect shipments at this time, if fabrication delays exceed a week, shipments will suffer.
