Washing machines> I think the Kenmore is a relabled Frigidaire front loader. (don't get me started on ToasterReports)

Because of the upward tip of the drum putting pressure on mechanical parts, Neptunes have had problems. Therefore, the Frigidare(no tilt) does get recommended more often.

There are two washers that lead the pack, in my opinion. Both of them are frontloaders that are able to boost the temperature of the water. Both are German: one is made by Bosch, the other by Meile.

You need to buy them as a set as both power the washer from the outlet box on the back of the dryer.

I have the Bosch and love it. With credit going to the temperature boost option, its cleaning ability is superior to the Frigidaire, Maytag, and the commercial Wascomat machines.

Compared to Bosch, the Meile has a 20% larger drum capacity and is built to outlive me. I paid $1,600 for the Bosch set.
