I think the Playstation II is going to be a significant event. A lot of game playing buyers of "bleeding edge" PC's might opt to buy a platform made for gaming from the ground up rather than continuing to pour money into Wintel upgrades. They'll probably also make dandy thin clients.

The one question I have about them is whether they'll be able to use high-resolution monitors or HDTV's.

If so, I might even buy one myself.
