Allen sells off chunk of Microsoft stock

Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen sold 9.9 million shares of Microsoft stock between Aug. 4 and Aug. 23 in the biggest insider stock sale for the period. The sale was valued at $842 million.
A spokeswoman at Vulcan Ventures, the Bellevue financial company that handles Allen's finances, said it was part of a quarterly diversification program.

There's also a brief in the same article about InterNAP, another of PA's investments, which is scheduled to go public on the 27th.
