The"ifs" are there to model the best case market penetration and to set some bounds of future growth. I don't profess that these will occur (especially the 100% market share). I was just trying to cap the upside of revenues/earnings and then judge what a reasonable investor (whatever that may be!) would pay for the dispersible royalty stream. As far as to those future PC buyers, today most are more concerned about their next meal than first PC. For my part they can trade their next years worth of provisions for virtually anything electronic. I own no stocks in rice farmers but plenty in technology related stocks that could benefit!
