Ratan: rediff.com Why should we vote? We are not part of India?' Anti-India Kashmiris should be consider themselves blessed because successive Indian Govts did not do What Chinese Govt did to the Tibet and Tibetans. Tibet,Tibetan culture, places of worship were mostly destroyed. Many Tibetans were thrown out of the country, killed or are just missing. And Chinese were moved into Tibet. Tibet is China now. Nobody took any action, because of the fear of the Chinese and fear of offending the Chinese and losing trade. The world should side with India because Indian Govt did not move 10 million Indians to Kashmir from other parts of India, thereby changing the local culture, demographics etc When I went to Kashmir in the days before real trouble started, the tourists were fleeced by the local tour operators. They had it so good. Indian Govt sent thousands of Kashmiri students all over India for their undergrad & graduate education. They were treated like a privileged group all over Indian colleges with free tuition money paid from taxes collected from poor Indians. Where is the gratitude? JPR
