You are right on target about the continuing communication problems with CPQ. Remember a few short months ago how Rosen was touting that CPQ would spend something like 100 million dollars to push Tru64???
It's really too bad CPQ has to dick around with this stuff while IBM plasters the back pages of the NY Times and WSJ with it's revamped E-commerce and thin server push. I dumped my shares at 25 once again and am looking to get back in for another trade soon. Stock is relatively strong today, but that's CPQ's trademark. It doesn't go down much in a down market, and doesn't go up any in a strong market...

Regards,
John

PS - One more possible negative for CPQ vis a vis the competition. Sam Palmisano, head of IBM Global Services and Gerstner's so called 'heir apparent' has been appointed head of the server division at IBM....

QuentR,
The best thing anyone can say, CPQ hasn't warned about earnings. Of course, we haven't hit the end of the month yet. I hope we don't have another late warning. My guess is we are not home free until the first week of October. But we don't have a CFO yet, so it might be later.
