Ca is very anti-gun these days so there are a number of issues that are leaning leftward from the rest of the country. Well, taking my situation in more general terms, I believe these days very few adoptable babies exist like myself. I know of 2 couples that want to adopt and it has been difficult, most adoptable babies are non-whites out here, and then there is a different set of laws that restrict white couples from adopting black babies, so they are left with the mixed-races and going up against all the other couples that want babies. There is the former eastern bloc and some specific orphanages in Rumania etc. where there are adoptable babies... I wonder if its entirely legal adopting a child from there... I just don't know. In the 60s the Salvation Army and others had these homes for unwed mothers set up and those were boons to couples that wanted to adopt the local homecoming queen's blue eyed baby with an IQ of 160+. Jeff Bezos (CEO of Amazon) is also a product of these circumstances.
